Festival weekend, same creative spirit.

Friday, November 6, 2026

The Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival runs from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, while First Fridays takes place from 4:30–7:30 PM. Festival closures will affect part of Zaragoza Street near Artworks Seville, so the trolley will follow an adjusted route and will not travel directly in front of Artworks Seville. No need to memorize a detour. Our driver will keep riders informed throughout the evening and let you know where the trolley is headed as you hop on.

Hop on. Our driver will keep you in the loop.
New Year’s pause

A little pause to start 2027.

No Art Walk on Friday, January 1

Since the first Friday of January falls on New Year’s Day, we’ll be taking the evening off. First Fridays returns February 5, rested, refreshed and ready to create more connections.

We’ll see you February 5
A little love note

October, you were wonderful.

The forecast had us ready to paddle downtown in canoes and kayaks, but the rain took a perfectly timed intermission, a rainbow showed off just before we began, and our community came out to make the evening a beautiful success. Thank you to every artist, location, trolley rider and brave umbrella-carrier who joined us.

We made art.Noteworthy Gift proved that paintbrushes are optional with an “everything but the brush” community canvas.
We made friends. Some lucky visitors met Sarah Soule Webb’s charming studio helpers, Peter and Luke, the bird and dog welcoming committee.
We found inspiration. From Charles Presti’s work at Reverie to fresh exhibitions and artists throughout downtown, every stop gave us something new to talk about.
And there is more to see.Blue Morning’s featured artists remain on view through October, with rotating art at Artel, new work at Joe Hobbs, upcoming activities at Quayside and fresh artists at Artworks Seville.

The Art Walk may happen once a month, but these creative spaces are here all month long. Visit the locations below, follow their Instagram pages and keep showing up for Pensacola’s artists.

About First Fridays

Created through connection.

Art. Creativity.
Music. Connections.

First Fridays Art Walk began with a simple idea: to create a space where Pensacola’s artists, galleries, creative spaces and community could come together.

What started as a shared vision grew through collaboration, conversation and the belief that something special happens when people make room for one another. Artists open their studios and galleries. Creative spaces welcome new faces. Musicians, makers and neighbors bring their energy to the evening. Together, we create an experience that belongs to all of us.

At its heart, First Fridays is about connection. It is about discovering new work, meeting the people behind it and building relationships that continue long after the evening ends. It is about collaboration between artists, galleries and creative spaces, and about the encouragement we give one another when we show up, share our work and celebrate what is being created here in Pensacola.

On the first Friday of every month, downtown becomes a place to wander, listen, look closer and connect. Every stop offers something different, from exhibitions and live music to conversations, demonstrations and unexpected moments of inspiration.

First Fridays was created by artists and for artists, but it has grown into something shared by the entire community. It is a reminder that art does more than fill a room. It brings people together, opens doors and gives us a reason to keep creating.

Come for the art. Stay for the connections. Leave inspired by the people and possibilities you found along the way.
